MALÅ MIRA 3D Ground Penetrating Radar Array system discovers gladiator-training camp

September, 2011

Near Petronell-Carnuntum in Austria, archeologists from the LBI-ArchPro team uncover ruins of a gladiator school using a MALÅ MIRA 3D GPR (ground penetrating radar) Array system.

Lower Austrian provincial Governor, Erwin Pröll, referred to the discovery as, “a world sensation, in the true meaning of the word”.

This sensational archeological find adds yet another remarkable discovery to a growing list of archeological accomplishments since the LBI group began using the MALÅ MIRA 3D GPR system in 2010.

Geological Survey of Finland choose MALÅ to supply ground penetrating radar (GPR) systems

The Geological Survey of Finland has chosen MALÅ to supply new ground penetrating radar (GPR) systems to its Kokkola, Kuopio, and Rovaniemi offices in Finland. The systems will be used for groundwater detection, peat mapping, and bedrock detection.
