ProEx and RTA at Svalbard

MALÅ has recently sold yet another GPR instrument to be used for research at Svalbard. Research at Svalbard is focused on Climate and Environmental changes of the Arctic and part of this work is to monitor the changes and variations of the existing ice-sheets. GPR technology is ideal for ice thickness surveys and makes it possible to rapidly investigate ice-sheets down to several hundreds of meters. With the MALÅ Rough Terrain Antennas (RTA), Malå has simplified these types of measurements considerably and this will help scientist in their work at the Arctic.
