The MALÅ Imaging Radar Array (MIRA) was officially launched less then a month ago and the interest from the market has been immense.

MALÅ has recently sold yet another GPR instrument to be used for research at Svalbard.

MALÅ is the current world leader in supplying dense array GPR units to a growing market. The interest for dense GPR array systems has increased rapidly over the last few years, not the least due to billion dollar investments in both traditional and IT infrastructure in emerging markets and elsewhere. To meet this growing market MALÅ launches the MIRA (Mala Imaging Radar Arrasy) System.

MALÅ is expanding in Asia. Due to increasing sales in mainland China and Asia as a whole, MALÅ has decided to open an office in Beijing, China.

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, November 1, Swedish software company Guideline Oil Drilling Technology AB (NGM:GODT) today announced that they have agreed to acquire Swedish company Malå Geoscience Förvaltnings AB.

MALÅ is pleased to announce the release of the Professional Explorer (ProEx) System. At the heart of this new system is the ProEx Control Unit. Designed on a completely new technical platform, the ProEx is the most versatile control unit in the MALÅ range and replaces the CUII as the new high-end full range system.

In November 2001 the Swedish company MALÅ, with it's GPR technology (Ground Penetrating Radar), was assigned the task of investigating and mapping the underground damages caused by the catastrophe at World Trade Centre. The assignment went on from December to January, and attracted a great deal of attention in the US. It has lead to an international break-through for the MALÅ technology, which has unlimited applications on the global market.

The project will be carried out by financial support from the local government in Västerbotten in Sweden and was presented in a letter from the Swedish Prime Minister Göran Persson to the Mayor of New York Rudolph Giuliani in conjunction to there meeting in New York Thursday evening.
