1.6 GHz Antenna

Monday, June 21, 2004

MALA GeoScience introduces the 1.6 GHz Antenna for the RAMAC/GPR system. The 1.6 GHz antenna is ideal for the non-destructive testing (NDT) of concrete structures. The system effectively images rebar, post tension cables, metallic and non-metallic conduits in concrete walls, slabs, bridges and parking garages. The antenna provides the user with exceptional image quality due to the true 1.6 GHz frequency.

Data collection is fast and simple using the "one button" XV11 Monitor with dedicated easy to use software. Data collection can also be done using a laptop computer and GroundVision software. The detachable data collection cart and start/stop remote controls enable the user to easily and quickly image areas using the grid template ranging from 30 cm by 30 cm to 2.8 m by 2.8 m using the integrated 2.5D analysis tool. The 2.5D analysis tool gives the user an instant side-by-side view of the mapped area and depth of objects.

MALA GeoScience is the World leader in the design and manufacture of Ground Penetrating Radar products. From the easy to use Easy Locator to the advanced Cart array system.
