MALÅ is pleased to announce the release of the Single Measuring Wheel option for its range of High Frequency (HF) Antennas (1.2GHz, 1.6GHz and 2.3GHz). This new option can be used with these HF Antennas whether configured for use with the CX or CUII control units.

The single measuring wheel option with ski-style skid plate is designed for use in confined areas, corners, or other areas where access and movement with the traditional four-wheel mini-cart has been limited. The addition of a ski-style skid plate allows the antenna to be moved more easily over rougher surfaces, but remain in contact for optimum signal performance.

The spring loaded wheel can be mounted in two orientations allowing either forward/ backward or side to side (left to right) movement.

The housings of the HF Antennas have been shipping for some time with the necessary mounting points (version C3 or higher), so this option can be purchased immediately as an add-on to existing units without any adjustment. A chargeable factory based retro-fit is available for older-style antenna housings and those preceding version C3.
