The MALÅ GPR Easy Locator is the standard ground penetrating radar (GPR) system for utility locating professionals worldwide. The system is priced well below other ground penetrating radar systems and virtually redefines GPR for everyday locators that need to find non-metallic utilities and perform surveys for unknown buried objects and utilities.
The system includes an easy user interface with almost complete automation of settings whereby the operator provides minimal input to begin collecting data. Currently there are two antenna frequencies available, the MID and SHALLOW, which have been optimized for both the depth and resolution required for locating utilities. The MALÅ GPR Easy Locator's ultra-light weight and easy-to-assemble design provides unmatched portability for transportation between projects.
Modern advances in technology, particularly in the design and construction of buried utilities, have resulted in the ever increasing use of non-metallic materials. Ground penetrating radar is the only technology available that does not require physical connection to the utility, nor does it rely on electromagnetic (EM) radiation from the utility, which may or may not be present or detectable. Locate professionals know the difficulties associated with non-metallic utilities and that conventional locating tools leave you a few pieces short.
MALÅ GPR Easy Locator SHALLOW Ground Penetrating Radar Antenna:
The MALÅ GPR Easy Locator SHALLOW Ground Penetrating Radar Antenna is a rugged shielded antenna available for the Easy Locator. The SHALLOW antenna can be used for targets as small as 3-cm in diameter and up to 2.5 meters deep.
MALÅ GPR Easy Locator MID Ground Penetrating Radar Antenna:
The MALÅ GPR Easy Locator MID Ground Penetrating Radar Antenna is a rugged shielded antenna available for the Easy Locator. The MID antenna can be used for targets as small as 5-cm in diameter and up to 4.0 meters deep.
For rough environments, the MALÅ GPR Easy Locator System can also be operated with the MALÅ GPR RTC Cart as an option to the standard configuration.
