Unshielded Antennas

Unshielded Antennas

MALÅ unshielded antennas are low frequency antennas used for applications requiring maximum depth penetration. Where cultural noise is not a factor and the project demands maximum penetration depth, the MALÅ unshielded antennas are the answer.

All MALÅ unshielded antennas use interchangeable antenna electronics, digital length meters, antenna handles and controller. The antennas are light-weight and made for one man surveys. Antenna separation is flexible, enabling CMP and WARR data collection for velocity calculations.

100 MHz Unshielded Antenna
100 MHz Unshielded Antenna The 100 MHz unshielded antennas are a general purpose antenna with good penetration depth and fair resolution. Its application range is broad. It is used for river, landfill studies as well as for karst, lake-bottom mapping and deep pipe and bedrock detection.
200 MHz Unshielded Antenna
200 MHz Unshielded Antenna The 200 MHz unshielded antennas give mid-range penetration depth with good resolution. Its application range is broad. It is used for utility detection, bedrock and cavity detection. The compactness of the antenna facilitates surveys in more vegetated terrain.
25 MHz Unshielded Antenna
25 MHz Unshielded Antenna The 25 MHz unshielded antennas are made for deepest possible penetration depths. The light-weight, low frequency 25 MHz antennas are commonly used for geological and stratigraphical surveys in open terrain.
50 MHz Unshielded Antenna
50 MHz Unshielded Antenna The 50 MHz unshielded antennas are designed for moderately deep measurements. The 50 MHz antennas are light-weight and one-man operable, commonly used in geological and geotechnical applications.
